This ring dates from the 1940s/1950s and, being in perfect aesthetic condition, is surely a warehouse surplus item. It is made of 18-carat gold and features a blue sapphire of about 0.8 carats surrounded by four other blue sapphires, carre cut, of 0.01 carats each, and six rosette-cut diamonds of about 0.02 carats each. The stones are set in 18-carat white gold (lab-tested) and are mounted on a hand-pierced, perforated basket. Ring size 15 (European 55) weight 2.25 grams.
