Richard Ginori - Dinner set for 6 (23) - Art Déco - Porcelain

Refined Richard Ginori porcelain dinner service, expression of the elegant and restrained taste of Italian Art Deco. The service is distinguished by the purity of its forms and by the delicate balance between geometric rigor and decorative richness, characteristics that made the historic Doccia manufactory famous in the period between the 1920s and 1930s. The porcelain, with a pure white ground, is embellished with an elegant perimetral band consisting of a geometric motif in shades of blue, interspersed with small bouquets of pink roses, finished with a thin gilt edge that gives brightness and prestige to the whole. The contrast between the linear Greek-key design and the delicacy of the floral elements creates a refined and timeless decoration, perfectly in line with the Deco taste. The service consists of 23 pieces and includes: 6 dinner plates 6 deep plates (soup plates) 6 antipasto plates 1 tureen 1 sauce boat 1 serving dish 1 round tray 1 oval tray Generally good condition, gold slightly worn on some plates. The tureen lid and one plate show more evident defects.
