Riccobaldi - Manifesto Lloyd Triestino – To Europe –...

Spectacular poster dedicated to the famous Lloyd Triestino, the historic Italian shipping company, with an extraordinary graphic composition inspired by the Futurist and Art Deco aesthetics of the Thirties. Note well: This is a later edition, probably from the 1970s. The image, characterized by the large red bridge connecting East and Europe and the ship sailing toward the Old Continent, celebrates the great sea routes through India, Egypt and Italy. In the background appear the monumental profiles of the major civilizations and European cities, in a composition of strong visual impact and extraordinary modernity. The poster reproduces the famous advertisement from 1934 printed by Barabino & Graeve of Genoa and represents one of the most iconic images dedicated to Italian navigation and international connections of the period between the two wars. !!!
