Unique for the Issuing Bank Reynoldsville, Pennsylvania. $10 1902 Date Back. Fr. 617. Citizens NB. Charter #8263. PCGS Banknote Fine 12. A very unassuming note for reasons that need little in the way of explanation. This well-circulated Series of 1902 $10 Date Back has the look of a "common" note in visual terms that led a hard life, but thanks to the fact it was issued by the short-lived Citizens National Bank of Reynoldsville (Charter# 8263) makes it utterly exceptional as this exact note is the only piece recorded here by the National Bank Note Census. To that end, the collector is faced with the obvious by virtue of the grade assigned, but signatures attributable to Cashier James Warnick Hunter and President John W. Steward also remain distinct despite technical circulation lending this note an enviable quality bound to please the collector who may claim this note for their own holdings. PCGS Banknote comments "Stained, Discoloration." Estimate: $1,500 - $2,500. Provenance: From the Jack Copeland Currency Collection, Part IV. Click here for certification details from PCGS Banknote.
