Remembering to Breathe - Soos Roxana Gabriela

Remembering to Breathe by Soos Roxana Gabriela Painting 27.5 x 23.5 :: When everything around you stops during a deep slow conscious breath and the calm from the usual hustle and bustle conquers you. Then the day becomes beautiful the evening unforgettable and the night peaceful. On this canvas I have reproduced the state I achieved by breathing and slowing down time. It is a dense field of layered color on a pale misty ground. Bright red yellow pink blue and violet passages collide with soft white washes while fine looping lines and scattered drips thread across the surface. It seems expansive and restless with vivid explosions concentrated along the bottom edge and left side yet it conveys peace and tranquility.
