Inside, on a red fabric background, is arranged an elegant composition of paperolles framing a rich collection of relics of the Passion of Christ and of Saints linked to the Passion of Christ: In the center: Fragment of the Lignum Crucis (Wood of the Holy Cross) inserted on a small crucifix. Relics of the Passion: Ex Spina D.N.J.C. (Crown of Thorns), Ex Spongia D.N.J.C. (Sponge of the Passion). Marian and Saint Relics: Ex Velo V.M. Dolorosae (Veil of the Virgin of Sorrows), Ex Velamine S. Helenae Imp. (Saint Helena Empress), Ex Pallio S. Petri Ap. (Saint Peter the Apostle), Ex Tunica S. Joannes Ap. The reliquary does not contain human remains. This object is offered exclusively for its historical, cultural, or decorative value. No religious significance is claimed, implied, or endorsed. Over time, some elements of the reliquary may have been modified or restored.
