Refined oval reliquary dating from the late 19th century. The object is made of solid brass with an antique patina and coppery hues emerging from natural oxidation. The interior is finely arranged with a filigree work of gold paper on a green background. At the center, set on a purple-red velvet background, is the main relic Ex Titulo D.N.J.C., containing a fragment of the Titulus Crucis. Arranged around the center are six other relics ex-indumentis and ex petra, placed in oval compartments and accompanied by handwritten Latin inscriptions referring to the Blessed Virgin Mary, Saint Anthony of Padua, Saint Paul the Apostle, Saint Francis of Assisi, Saint Peter the Apostle, and Saint Joseph Husband. The back is covered with original period decorative paper and is closed by a red wax ecclesiastical seal with red intertwined threads. The dimensions are 12 x 9.5 x 1.3 cm and the overall condition is very good and consistent with the object's era. The reliquary contains no human remains. This item is offered exclusively for its historical, cultural, or decorative value. No religious significance is claimed, implied, or supported. Over time, some elements of the reliquary may have been modified or restored.
