RARE STANLEY WANLASS “DREAM MACHINES” LIMITED-EDITION BRONZE

RARE STANLEY WANLASS “DREAM MACHINES” LIMITED-EDITION BRONZE RARE STANLEY WANLASS “DREAM MACHINES” LIMITED-EDITION BRONZE — NUMBER 10 OF ONLY 30 An exceptional and remarkably detailed limited-edition bronze sculpture by celebrated American automotive artist Stanley Wanlass, whose sculptural works are renowned for capturing the history, movement and romance of the automobile. Titled “Dream Machines,” this elaborate composition captures the imagination and excitement of early motoring through a wonderfully animated childhood racing scene. Young drivers pilot their handcrafted machines across rugged terrain while companions and dogs race alongside, creating a sculpture filled with humor, action and extraordinary visual detail. Wanlass gives remarkable attention to the smallest elements—from the expressive faces and clothing of the individual figures to the wheels, steering mechanisms, bodywork, animals and deeply modeled terrain. The hand-finished coloration further enhances the composition, giving each figure and vehicle an individual character. Produced in an extremely limited edition of only 30 examples worldwide, this sculpture is individually numbered 10/30. The unusually small edition, substantial scale and intricate multi-figure composition distinguish Dream Machines as an especially desirable example of Wanlass’s automotive art.
