Ca. AD 14 - 37 . A marble portrait head of Livia with the face turned slightly to the side. Her hair is centrally parted, arranged in broad undulating locks across the forehead and temples, and drawn back into a compact chignon at the nape. The features are evenly proportioned, with gently arched brows, broad eyes and a small, firmly closed mouth. The cheeks taper softly towards the rounded chin.
