History The Golden Horse collection debuted in 1957, representing Rado's first major success as an independent watchmaker rather than solely a movement supplier. This model line helped establish the brand's unique design language and bold aesthetic identity. Historically, the screw-down casebacks of this collection feature a deeply embossed twin seahorse medallion and 'Water-Sealed' text, marking a period of innovation and rapid expansion for the Swiss manufacturer during the mid-century era.
