Plumier en papier mâché laqué, de forme allongée à extrémités arrondies, décoré en polychromie et rehauts d’or sur fond noir. Le couvercle est orné d’un médaillon central figurant une jeune femme tenant un éventail, entourée de bouquets floraux et de rinceaux dorés. Les côtés présentent des médaillons paysagées et des motifs floraux dans le même esprit. Dim. 22 x 3,5 cm (8,7 x 1,4 in.) Provenance : Collection privée, Paris. A Qajar lacquered papier-mâché qalamdan (pen box) with a fan-bearing lady. Iran, Qajar, 19th century.
