All auctions / Ethnographic / Purple amethyst aesthetic with spectrum and chalcedony...
From our selection of collectible minerals, we present a splendid Amethyst scepter crystal with Chalcedony from Capurru Quarry, Osilo, Sardinia. Moreover, it is characterized by the typical and sought-after scepter shape of the amethyst crystal, the intense purple coloration that pleasantly contrasts with the white chalcedony matrix, and the good transparency of the crystal, elements that increase its aesthetic value and mineralogical importance. The sample stands out for the quality of crystallization and for the overall aesthetic balance, with features that enhance its natural structure and visual impact. Amethyst is a purple variety of quartz, coloration due to traces of iron in the crystal lattice combined with exposure to natural radiation during formation. The scepter shape forms when a quartz crystal grows around a pre-existing nucleus, giving rise to this characteristic expanded form at the terminal end. Sardinia, with its pegmatite quarries and hydrothermal veins like Capurru, is well known among collectors for finds of quartz and amethyst of gem-quality. This is an ideal specimen for mineralogical collections, display, and for those who appreciate the natural beauty of minerals, also in the realm of crystal therapy and lithotherapy, according to the properties traditionally associated with the mineral species. All minerals are 100% natural and untreated, with very rare exceptions always indicated in the description. The photographs are taken with professional lighting to best enhance colors and details; however, slight variations in shade may occur depending on the device or ambient light. Shipping is carried out through reliable and selected express couriers, with fast delivery (in many cases 1-2 business days within Europe), tracked and insured shipping and professional and secure packing, as confirmed by customer reviews.
