Punu Mask (Mukudj) – Gabon - Punu (ou Bapounou) - Gabon (No reserve price)

Traditional Punu mask carved in wood, depicting an idealized female face. The face is covered with a white kaolin patina, contrasting with an imposing double-bun hairstyle finely striped. The half-closed eyes, sculpted lips, and the forehead scarification pattern illustrate the aesthetic canons of Punu art. Beautiful old patina and high quality of sculpture. Ideal for an African art collection or as a decorative object. Sold without stand. Shipped with insurance.
