Punch and Judy Mechanical Bank

Punch and Judy Painted Cast Iron Mechanical Bank. Depicts Punch in a painted street theater scene, swinging a club at Judy. When the side plunger is pulled, Judy turns forward and Punch raises his club; placing a coin in Judy’s tray and pressing the lever causes the coin to drop as Judy turns toward Punch while he lowers his club. The pediment reads "PUNCH AND JUDY BANK" and the coin box plate is inscribed with the 1884 U.S. and English patent dates. Measures: 7-1/2" high, 6-1/8" wide, 4" deep.
