PULLEY BRACKET Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, Baoulé ethnic group 20th century Wood, original honey- and brown-colored patina from use H. 19 cm Provenance: - Former collection of the Saint-Cyprien Museum. Anthropomorphic loom pulley bracket with an angular arch. At the top of a tubular, scarified neck, the oval face is heart-shaped. The hair is styled in a bun. The pulley is embellished with four brass upholstery nails. The thread spool is made of corozo nut.
