An old reference work on French gastronomy titled " Larousse Gastronomique ". Year of publication 1938. Richly illustrated with 1,850 engravings and 16 color plates inserted out of text. A sturdy volume and in good condition, interior very good. Very rare for a reference work of nearly 90 years. Small superficial stains along the edges of the book and a crease mark at the bottom of the first three pages see the latest photos. Dimensions 27 cm x 21 cm, more than 1000 pages of recipes and magnificent illustrations. Weight excluding packaging 3.2 kg.
