Oval glazed stoneware terrine/stew pot (often called a Terrine à Baeckeoffe or Terrine à Foie Gras) with a matching lid. Made in Alsace, France, in the traditional style of potteries such as Poterie BECK. Traditional hand-painted Alsatian terrine with a matching lid. Oven and microwave safe. It is commonly used for traditional stews or pies.
