History of Schirnding: From 1904 white earthenware was produced at Schirnding AG, founded by Lorenz Reichel as a porcelain painting company. From 1909 the name Porzellanfabrik Schirnding was used. In 1995 it merged with porcelain factories Kronester and Seltmann. Schirnding is a market town in the district of Wunsiedel in the Fichtelgebirge, Bavaria, Germany.
