POPLEA - - DIPTYQUE LE TUMULTE DU SILENCE— by POPLEA (2000) NO RESERVE

A powerful abstract work, where matter becomes the true subject of the creation. Entirely worked in relief, this composition evokes the brutality of sculpted concrete, cracked and shaped right on the surface. The overlays of material, the movements made with a spatula and the contrasts between deep blacks, mineral grays and silvery nuances create a striking impression of depth. Each relief catches the light differently, revealing a chaotic and almost sculptural architecture. At the border between contemporary painting and brut art, “THE TURMOIL OF SILENCE” imposes a strong, mineral and timeless presence. A work of character, whose richness of textures and the power of contrasts are fully revealed in natural light. toile vendue déjà montée sur chassis www.poplea.art The artist Popléa: If you own this work, you hold an authentic piece signed Popléa. But you should know: Popléa is a pseudonym. He or she has not yet revealed their identity — intentionally. This choice is part of a broader artistic project, a form of experiment: Create without name, without status, without biography. The work alone. The image alone. What it evokes. What you feel. The artist behind Popléa is already exhibited, recognized, collected — but wanted to explore another path, freer. Refuse filters, codes, discourses. Refuse that it is always the same — galleries, experts, networks — who decide what has value. Perhaps what you own is the beginning of something. Or perhaps it is simply a work that speaks to you, here and now. Both options are beautiful. And in the end, maybe that is the true luxury. The work is hand-signed, delivered ready to hang, in a 4x4 packaging with insured included. Happy bidding Latest buyer comments: "Very happy with my purchase! The piece received is magnificent, you can immediately feel the technical skill and the work it required. The packaging was especially careful" "Exceptional packaging for a work that is equally so! Thanks to the artist for this quality work."
