Present are 24 illustrated card parts as well as 24 separate pieces with a blue geometric pattern. According to a toy expert, the two parts belong together and were intended to be glued onto each other. In its current condition they are not yet connected. The image parts depict historical fairy-tale illustrations, including motifs from “Snow White,” “Little Red Riding Hood,” and “Hansel and Gretel.” The design and the geometric back pattern fit the appearance of early Spear card games. The game shows age-related signs of wear. The card parts are not glued. The exact original production method and the question whether this specific assembly represents a special variant have not yet been clarified. None of the cards is folded in any way, except for a back piece that is unprinted on the front side.
