Platter - Cast iron - Still Life

Beautiful antique art nouveau/art deco table centerpiece from the period 1900–1930. Originating from France. This object combines a black, hand-forged wrought iron stand with detailed grape clusters and grape leaves with a characteristic marbled glass bowl in green- and brown-toned glass. This so-called centerpiece is 29 cm high. The diameter of the bowl is about 20 cm. The base is formed by an iron hexagon with sides of 6 cm each. The weight is over 2500 grams.
