Platter (2) - Porcelain - Set of porcelain cachepots

An exceptionally elegant and richly decorated pair of porcelain cachepots of outstanding quality. On the underside the pieces bear the characteristic blue S-monogram of Sèvres set in a diamond. The bowls have a striking fluted edge refined with purple ornamentation and gilded accents. The corpus shows a very detailed, hand-painted scene of birds on branches in a deep purple hue, complemented by a lively pink lower rim with stylized green leafy motifs. The two sturdy, integrated handles are richly accented with gold leaf. This rare set of two is in excellent condition, with the clear glaze and fine gold details preserved. A valuable and impressive collectible that looks lovely on a festively laid table or in a classic display cabinet. The cachepots are 14 cm high, 29.5 cm wide and have a depth of 20 cm per pot. Further they weigh 1795 grams per pot. The colors may differ slightly from the photos. The cachepots are safely and accurately packed.
