Plaquette - F.C.I. – Saint-Hubert with hunting dogs - Bronze

Antique cast bronze plaquette, dating from around 1925. The depiction shows Saint Hubert, patron saint of hunters, kneeling before a deer with the cross between the antlers. Around him are several hunting dogs depicted. At the bottom is clearly F.C.I. An almost identical specimen is documented by the auction house Noonans Mayfair as “Saint Hubert avec des chiens et des cerfs”, attributed to L. Blöcher and manufactured for the Fédération Cynologique Internationale. Height: 13.8 cm Width: 7.7 cm Weight: 271.4 grams The plaquette is in good condition appropriate for its age, with normal signs of aging and use. The patina is preserved and the object has not been polished.
