A beautiful, handmade vintage mosaic plant table (or side table) in a charming Mediterranean style. This unique piece combines artisanal wrought iron with an artistic, colorful tabletop and is in very good vintage condition. Tabletop: The square top is an artistic centerpiece. The center is inlaid with abstract ceramic shards (trencadís style) in vivid rust brown, light blue, and royal blue. The exterior edge is finished with a classic border tile featuring a traditional blue-and-white curl and flower motif, giving the piece an elegant look. The grout is fully intact and no shards are missing. Base: The slender, minimalist black metal frame features four decorative, cast corner consoles with a classic Baroque/floral motif (acanthus leaves). These ornaments are firmly welded between the legs and the upper edge, which is decorative and also provides excellent stability to support the heavy stone top. The metal shows a light, characteristic patina that adds to the vintage charm of the piece.
