Plant table - Vintage side table - oak wood

Vintage oak plant stand / side table – Netherlands, 1970s Beautiful vintage oak plant stand or side table, made in the Netherlands and presumably dating from the 1970s. The small table has a warm, natural appearance and stands out especially for its distinctive design with three gracefully curved legs. The table features two round tiers. The upper tier has a diameter of about 27 cm and is finished with a nicely rounded edge. The smaller lower tier has a diameter of about 21 cm. The three legs have an elegant, organic curve with subtle bends, giving the whole piece an elegant and nearly sculptural look. The open construction also gives the table a light, airy character. The design is organic with Art Nouveau influence, where the flowing lines and curved legs are central. This graceful styling combined with the warm oak makes the little table an attractive vintage piece of furniture. The oak has a warm mid- to dark brown color with a beautifully visible natural grain. The table can of course be used as a plant stand, but is also perfectly suited as a small side table for, for example, a vase, figurine, lamp, or other decorative object. Thanks to its slim and compact size, this table sits nicely beside an armchair or sofa, in a living room, hallway, conservatory, or bedroom. A distinctive piece of furniture that can be practical as well as decorative. The upper tier has been repaired in the past. The repair is very subtle and hardly noticeable.
