Rare Toulouse edition from the 17th century gathering the works of Pierre Goudelin (1580-1649), a major figure of Toulouse Occitan poetry. Las Obros: 15 + 66pp Le Ramelet Mundi: 192pp La Floureto: 180pp The work notably contains the famous Ramelet Moundi, as well as other poetic pieces and a dictionary devoted to the Toulouse language. Specialized bibliographies do indeed list this 1678 edition, printed in Toulouse by Jan Pech, and the Bibliothèque nationale de France preserves a copy. The presented copy has an old full brown leather binding, probably from the period or close to it, with a five-nerve spine and substantial gilded decorations still visible. The binding is, however, in a very poor state of preservation: the leather is heavily peeled. The photographs notably show the title page of Las Obros de Piérre Goudelin and a title page unique to the Ramelet Moundi, both dated 1678, which constitutes a particularly interesting element for identifying the copy.
