PHILIPPINES. Lot of (2). Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas. 5 Piso, 1949 (ND 1969). P-143bpm1 & 143pm2. Front & Back Printer's Models. PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 to Superb Gem Uncirculated 67 EPQ. Front and back printer's models for the 5 Piso. Virtually identical to the issued notes (although we discern a slightly lighter tint of the green) and very rare (if not unique) in this format. The back proof shows faint glue marks, including on the note, which has precluded it from being awarded the EPQ designation by the grading service. Otherwise, however, it surely would have received a Superb Gem Uncirculated grade as the front did.

Estimate:$1,500
