PHILIPPINES. 10 Pesetas Brass Jeton, 1888 (ca. 1910s)-M. NGC MS-64. Honeycutt-1361. Diameter: 13 mm. The single finest certified on either the NGC or PCGS population reports. Obverse: Bust of Alfonso XIII left, legend around "∗ALFONSO XIII POR LA G: DE DIOS∗1888"; Reverse: Crowned arms of Spain, legend around "L. G. LAUER - NURNBERG .M. 10 PESETAS .M.". This near GEM example boasts a sharp strike with bold devices. The surfaces are relatively smooth and displays lovely rich brassy patina with richer coloration near the edge.
