1984, three part form, triangular mirror extends above and below the table, featuring modeled curvilinear wooden form with applied gray resin epoxy surfaces, solid unpainted wooden pedestal, appears unmarked. Approximately 75 x 76.4 x 15.9 in. Exhibited: The School of Wendell Castle Purchased: Alexander Milliken, Inc., 1984. Peter Pierobon is an internationally recognized studio furniture artist whose work is held in the collections of the Smithsonian’s Renwick Gallery, Philadelphia Museum of Art, Museum of Art and Design, and Royal Ontario Museum. His distinguished career includes an NEA Visual Artist Fellowship, numerous national and international exhibitions, and solo exhibitions at prominent galleries in New York, Philadelphia, and Toronto. Many nicks across epoxy and wood surfaces, epoxy edges in particular; piece of velcro across the nearest to floor part of mirror; loss to wood at back.
