Beautiful vintage Pelikan writing set from the 1950s, executed in the characteristic and beloved brown-black striped Tortoiseshell / tortoise finish with black parts and handsome gilded accents. The set consists of a Pelikan 400NN fountain pen and a matching Pelikan 450 mechanical pencil. A nice classic combination for the collector or enthusiast of vintage Pelikan writing instruments. The fountain pen is equipped with a 14 carat gold nib, marked Pelikan 585 / 14C. The cap bears the recognizable Pelikan logo. Features: Pelikan 400NN fountain pen, Pelikan 450 mechanical pencil, tortoiseshell brown/black striped finish, gilded clips and accents, and 14 carat (585) gold nib.
