Very rare drawing in charcoal, sanguine, gouache (oxidized) and white chalk on paper (stretched on cardboard) by Paul César HELLEU (1859-1927) signed with the monogram in the lower right corner The condition is good The drawing measures 75 x 61 cm (sight) ; it is stretched on a strong cardboard (with the original frame-maker Hériot’s label in Paris) and is not framed ; the original matte remains (torn) Paul-César Helleu was a French painter and engraver, born in Vannes on December 17, 1859, and died in Paris (7th arrondissement) on March 23, 1927. see the site: helleu.org/biographie
