For sale: A beautiful and extremely complete piece of early film history This is an original Pathéorama hand-film viewer (visionneuse), marketed in December 1923 by the legendary French film company Pathé Cinéma. The ingenious mechanism was designed at the time by French inventor J.C. Coupier. 100% Complete & Working: The internal transport mechanism still runs smoothly and functions as it should. Including 3 Original Film Reels: The set is supplied with three authentic film strips, making the viewer ready for use or demonstration right away. Including Original Art Deco Box: The iconic packaging with the beautiful Art Deco illustration by the French illustrator Goujou is present. The illustration sticker has withstood the test of time (over 100 years old!) beautifully. Including Original Manual/Flyer: A very rare, original paper document from Pathé about the operation of the "Pathéorama" and the "Cocorico" projector on inflammable film (Film Ininflammable). Including Original Filmothèque Catalog (1 December 1938): A beautiful, rare and undamaged film list from 1938 listing all titles, genres and colorings (such as Sepia and Noir) that were available at the time, in alphabetical order.
