Aus Erstbesitz - "fresh to the market". Gelbgold 18K, Gehäusenummer 2838706 (seitl. zusammen mit der Referenznummer innen am Gehäuserand eingraviert), Gehäuse hergestellt von Favre & Perret SA (PdM Nr. 115, gestempelt an der Unterseite des unteren rechten Horns). Die Referenz 3941 wurde 1986 von Patek Philippe eingeführt, um die Nachfrage nach einer 3940 mit Glasboden zu bedienen. Die Produktion erfolgte nur bis 1990, bislang gibt es weniger als 50 öffentlich bekannte Exemplare der Referenz 3941, davon nur weniger als 5 Stück mit dem bei Sammlern äußerst begehrten Doré-Zifferblatt. Extraflaches Automatic-Werk Kal. 240 Q mit Microrotor in Gold 22K, Genfer Streifen, Gyromax-Unruh und Genfer Punze, sehr gute Gangwerte (+4s/d, 284° Amplitude), Werknummer 771072. Goldfarbenes Sigma-Zifferblatt mit applizierten, facettierten gelbgoldenen Stabindizes, ewiger Kalender auf Englisch mit vertieften Hilfszifferblättern für die Anzeige von Wochentag und 24 Stunden (auf 9 Uhr) sowie Monat und Schaltjahr (auf 3 Uhr), Zeigerdatum und Mondphase (auf 6 Uhr), Zeiger in Gelbgold und gebläutem Stahl, Stunde und Minute als Dauphine-Zeiger, Kalender als Feuille-Zeiger. Originales schwarzes Patek Philippe Lederband mit Stiftschließe in Gelbgold 18K. Guter Zustand mit leichten Tragespuren, Goldpunzen auf der linken Gehäuseseite gut erhalten mit leichtem Abrieb, leichte Kratzer an der Unterseite der Bandanstöße vom Bandwechsel, Lederband gebrauchter Zustand. Original Box mit integriertem Uhrenbeweger Mod. EP 657 mit Anleitung (innen mit Alterungsspuren, funktionsfähig, Motor dreht aber sehr lansgam, eingebauter Akku vmtl. tiefenentladen), Garantiezertifikat 07/1988, verkauft durch "Magasin Patek Philippe SA" in Genf (also direkt bei Patek Phillippe und nicht bei einem Konzessionär - ebenfalls eine weitere exklusive Besonderheit dieser sehr seltenen Uhr! Lieferbestätigung für Garantiezertifikat und Wertschätzungsbestätigung für Versicherung von Patek Philippe 08/1988 ebenfall anbei, unterzeichnet von André Glad, langjähriger hochrangiger Mitarbeiter bei PP (Leitung Retail und Customer Service)und Bezugspersson von Philippe Stern. Early 2nd series with box and papers from 1988. First owner - "fresh to the market". 18K yellow gold, case number 2838706 (engraved on the on the inside edge of the case along with the reference number), case manufactured by Favre & Perret SA (PdM No. 115, stamped on the underside of the lower right lug). The Reference 3941 was introduced by Patek Philippe in 1986 to meet the demand for a 3940 with a sapphire crystal case back. Production continued only until 1990; to date, fewer than 50 publicly known examples of the Reference 3941 exist, of which fewer than 5 feature the Doré dial, which is highly sought after by collectors. Extra-thin automatic movement Cal. 240 Q with a 22K gold micro-rotor, Geneva stripes, Gyromax balance wheel, and Geneva seal; very good accuracy (+4s/day, 284° amplitude); movement number 771072. Gold-colored Sigma dial with applied, faceted yellow-gold baton indices; perpetual calendar in English with recessed sub-dials for displaying the day of the week and 24-hour time (at 9 o’clock) as well as the month and leap year (at 3 o’clock), pointer date and moon phase (at 6 o’clock); Hands in yellow gold and blued steel; Dauphine hour and minute hands; feuille calendar hands. Original black Patek Philippe leather strap with 18K yellow gold pin buckle. Good condition with slight signs of wear; gold hallmarks on the left side of the case are well-preserved with slight wear; slight scratches on the underside of the lugs from strap replacement; leather strap is in used condition. Original box with built-in watch winder, Model EP 657, with instructions (interior shows signs of aging; functional, but the motor rotates very slowly; built-in battery is likely deeply discharged), certificate of origin 07/1988, sold by “Magasin Patek Philippe SA” in Geneva (i.e., directly from Patek Philippe and not from an authorized dealer — another exclusive feature of this very rare watch! Delivery confirmation for the warranty certificate and appraisal confirmation for insurance from Patek Philippe dated 08/1988 are also included, signed by André Glad, a long-time senior executive at PP (Head of Retail and Customer Service) and a close associate of Philippe Stern.
