Original painting Oil on canvas 30x60 complete with a signed brochure on the back with the artist's stamp, upon request a personal dedication behind the canvas or on a photo Pasquale Vuotto is a contemporary Italian painter and poet, born in Naples in 1958. He is particularly esteemed in the Neapolitan art scene for his ability to capture the soul of the coastal landscapes of Campania. artistic journey Early passion: He began painting at the age of just 10, driven by innate talent. Training: He took his first steps as a self-taught artist, guided by a strong creative instinct. Subsequently, to refine his technique, he attended the art studios of masters D'Urso and Ciardo, achieving excellent technical maturity. Philosophy: Vuotto has never sought wealth or fame for art's sake, but rather a sense of deep personal and spiritual fulfillment. In his works, painting often blends with poetry, conveying a sense of meditation. Style and subjects "Painting from life": About 90% of his production is devoted to his beloved Naples and the neighboring coastal localities. Since he was young, he loves painting en plein air (from life). Themes: He is famous especially for his seascapes, fishing villages (such as Ischia, Pozzuoli, Sorrento and Positano), port towns, and the iconic fishing boats moored, just like those seen in pasquale-vuotto. Critics sometimes compare his color sensibility to that of post-impressionist movements or the Macchiaioli. He uses oils to give extraordinary depth and a sense of movement to the water and sky, capturing particular hours of the day such as dawns, sunsets, or gloomy days. Awards In addition to being a reference point in Italian galleries, his works have crossed national borders, being exhibited and collected abroad, especially in the United States, England, and Germany.
