Here is a Pariani saddle (17.5 inches) which, precisely because it hails from the 1990s, continues to exercise, on riders of any age, all the charm of tradition. And this is thanks to the appeal of its classic and essential lines, the elegance of the overall look, the care given to detail, and the quality of the leather. We are talking, after all, about an authentic icon of modern equestrianism, which, if kept with the utmost respect as in the case of the proposed specimen (the signs of time are captured in the photos), remains able to guarantee, as well as to pair, functionality, comfort, and performance. From the shape of the cushions to that of the seat and the panels, passing through the tone and the stitching to the very last detail, this vintage saddle, signed by the ultra-Milanese Maison Pariani 1903 (the four-time gallop factory from the Ippodromo della Maura and the Centro Ippico Lombardo), was created, on the other hand, by excellent master craftsmen in concert with the client. The latter was a riding instructor remembered, even today, by his pupils for the attention he paid not only to competition results but also to the horses’ well-being.
