Parfen.D XL - Lapis Field

A soft and powdery pink fills the upper part of the canvas, like a sunrise sky veiled with light. In the center stretches a row of ultramarine blue and purple flowers, painted in relief, with full petals that gather into small bouquets and disperse upward. Long, slender stems descend to a base of fresh green, interwoven with lilac touches and pearl gray. The grainy surface, made of short, overlapping brushstrokes, gives the color a continuous, light vibration. It is a delicate and joyful work, in which the contrast between pink and blue has the freshness of a spring morning.
