Parallel 2 - CATIA GOFFINET

Parallel 2 by CATIA GOFFINET Painting 37.4 x 59.0 :: In this work diamond-shaped planes in shades of blue are arranged along a vertical axis in a movement of contraction and expansion that suggests a force field. The progression in scale of the modules creates an optical depth that oscillates between a mirror and a liquid horizon. At the center a “bridge” of transparencies functions as a hinge for the space: it is the point of maximum tension and at the same time a breath of release. :: Type: Painting Medium: Acrylic Style: Abstract Subject: Abstract Width: 37.4 Height: 59.0 Depth: 2 Weight: 2 lbs Framed: no :: All art on Zatista is original and signed.
