Paolo Contin - Ritmi di Luce

Paolo Contin - Ritmi di Luce

Paolo Contin - Light Rhythms: colors that meet, cross each other and contrast, giving life to a dynamic and vibrant balance. The chromatic verticals meet, fuse with sudden signs and splashes of light, creating a free and spontaneous rhythm. An artwork that transmits energy, movement and vitality, like a symphony of colors that chase each other across the canvas. Acrylic painting - Hand-signed - 2026 Acrylic on canvas - cm 70 x 100 Certificate of authenticity with date and authentic signature on the back of the canvas. The painting will be shipped rolled inside a sturdy cardboard tube. Speditions to countries outside the European Community are not accepted due to high costs. PAOLO CONTIN has developed, for over twenty-five years, a personal artistic path in constant evolution. Trained in design and active since 1980 in the fashion world, he transfers to painting a particular sensitivity for color, form and compositional balance. Since 1999 he has exhibited his works and in 2002 held his first solo show in Padua. This has been followed by numerous exhibitions in Italy and abroad, with presence in Copenhagen, Munich, Paris, Brussels, Istanbul, Buenos Aires and Sydney. The artistic trajectory of Paolo Contin is also documented by inclusion in the Arte Mondadori Catalog, with related quotations. Over the years his works have also been published in Arte Mondadori magazine and in numerous catalogs and volumes produced for solo shows and major art fairs, some of which were published with the support of the Italian Cultural Institute. He was also among the founding members of Tostart, an artistic association born from the meeting of ten Veneto artists and active until the period of the Pandemic. An eclectic and independent artist, Contin has built over the years a recognizable language, distant from belonging to a single school or trend. His search traverses geometric abstraction, material and gestural painting, alternating rigor and expressive freedom. Lines, fields, geometrical shapes and intense chromatic relationships become elements of a vocabulary through which he investigates balance, movement and emotion. Experimentation also extends to sculpture and wood, with works built through the layering of geometric elements, confirming a research that goes beyond the boundaries of painting alone. His work today continues to evolve without pre-set formulas: every work arises from the will to preserve freedom, identity and expressive authenticity.
