This File / storage cabinet dates from the period 1920–1930 and was produced by H. Pander & Zonen (Hollandia). The cabinet is made of mahogany and finished with beautifully figured veneer, giving it a warm appearance and a sense of richness and quality. This cabinet originating from a hotel interior, where it was genuinely used for the storage and presentation of tableware and drinking glasses. The design and craftsmanship show clear influences of late Art Nouveau, with elegant lines and a harmonious balance between function and decoration.
