PAIR OF STREET VENDORS – FRANCE, 18TH CENTURY A pair of bronze statuettes with a brown patina depicting a couple of street vendors: the man, wearing a wide-brimmed hat, holds his wares under his arm, and the woman, dressed in a long gown and a headdress, displays fruit. Both figures rest on molded wooden bases with a dark patina. The bases bear the signature “DANEAU” and the date “1749.” 18th-century French work. Height: 29 cm Width: 10.5 cm Weight: 4.50 kg
