This pair of small circular earthenware plates features the Eventide pattern, a design by William Moorcroft for Moorcroft Pottery. The decoration is executed using the tube-lining technique, depicting stylized trees in shades of green and ochre set against a sunset sky that transitions from deep red orange at the horizon to a lighter golden-orange. The foreground is rendered as a dark blue-green landscape. The surfaces are finished with a high-gloss lead glaze. Each piece bears an impressed factory mark on the underside consisting of MOORCROFT in an arc above a straight-line reading MADE IN ENGLAND. Dimensions: 0.50"H x 5.50" dia.
