Pair, Draper + Grosfeld Drape-Back Side Chairs Designed by Dorothy Draper (American, 1889-1996) for Grosfeld House (American, founded 1933), mid 20th century. Having silver gilt draped swag top rails, ebonized frame and, gray silk velvet upholstered seats. Apparently unmarked. Approximate dimensions: 33 1/4 x 20 1/2 x 18 1/2 in. (84.5 x 52.1 x 47 cm.)
