Oil-on-canvas painting measuring 46x35 cm; the work has 6 cm of extra canvas around all sides to avoid problems when stretching it on the frame. The work is sent with a certificate of authenticity. For safety, the piece is shipped inside a waterproofed rigid cardboard tube with caps. Add this hypnotizing surrealist work by Paco Guzmán to your collection, where feline elegance and geometric precision intertwine in an enveloping, mysterious atmosphere. In this canvas, Guzmán depicts the imposing figure of a Sphynx cat with a piercing gaze and meticulously detailed skin, moving stealthily through a confined architectural space. Around it float and intersect beams and geometric blocks in pink, purple, and blue hues with organic veins, creating an optical illusion of depth, perspective, and movement suspended in time. Paco Guzmán is an eclectic artist with a long career behind him. He graduated from the Llotja School of Barcelona in pictorial techniques and mural painting. His work is in private collections in the U.S., Taiwan, Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, the United Kingdom, and Italy. He has participated in various gallery exhibitions and shown his work at different international art festivals. He also works as a professional cartoonist. Paco Guzmán, born in 1970 in Ulldecona, Tarragona, is a Spanish graphic artist, painter, and caricaturist. From an early age, he showed a remarkable talent for drawing, creating caricatures of his teachers and classmates. Although he initially was interested in comics, he soon leaned toward impressionist painting and caricature. In 1992, he began his path in painting as a self-taught artist, focusing on classic motifs such as still lifes. Later, he took an art correspondence drawing course, balancing his studies with work in a furniture factory. His passion for art led him to devote himself fully to painting and caricature, drawing caricatures of friends and tourists, which allowed him to refine his technique. Between 1997 and 2002, he studied at Esardi school in Amposta, in collaboration with the Llotja of Barcelona, specializing in pictorial techniques and mural painting. During this period, he left his factory job to focus on his artistic studies, supporting himself through occasional work and street art. Throughout his career, Guzmán has developed an eclectic style, combining contemporary painting with caricature. He has published the book "901 Caricaturas", which collects more than one hundred caricatures of famous people, created with various techniques such as acrylic on canvas, digital painting, oil on canvas, and graphite on paper. Furthermore, he has participated in exhibitions such as "Anatomia de les ànimes i visions caricaturesques" at the Espai Expositiu DeltArt in Deltebre, where he presented works created during the lockdown, reflecting an evolution in his technique and creativity. Paco Guzmán continues to explore new forms of artistic expression, establishing himself as a prominent figure in the field of painting and caricature in Spain.
