Pablo Picasso - Pablo Picasso - 3 Laminas - Museo Picasso...

Rare and fascinating vintage prints by Pablo Picasso, titled "Las meninas - Infanta Margarita Maria" - "La Salchichona" - "Self-portrait 1901", marked as XXIV XXXVIII XLI in the famous art collection published in 1972-73. This special edition was commissioned by the renowned Spanish pharmaceutical company Laboratorios Elmu, S.A. and meticulously curated in graphic detail by the historic Editorial Harofarma of Barcelona. (Both firms no longer exist.) The peculiarity of these graphic works lies in their double value: on the front they display the stunning authorized reproduction of Picasso's work, while on the back they present medical-scientific information and period advertising texts related to the laboratory's historic drugs. - They were issued solely to give to doctors, collaborators of Laboratorios Elmu, S.A. - Therefore limited to a small number of copies, which today are certainly very rare to find. - The reproduction was strictly authorized by S.P.A.D.E.M. Paris (1972), the official French body that at the time legally protected the author rights of the master before the birth of the Picasso Succession.
