This work is “La Colombe de la Paix” (or The Dove with Flowers), drawn by Pablo Picasso. Context & Creation: Drawn on December 28, 1961, this version is part of the famous series of doves created by Picasso for the Peace Movement. It served, in particular, as a poster for the National Congress of the Peace Movement held in Issy-les-Moulineaux in March 1962. The work depicts a dove drawn with a continuous blue line, carrying a bouquet of colorful flowers in its beak and bearing multicolored floral motifs (red, yellow, green, blue) on its wings. Picasso's signature is integrated into the plate at the bottom right (Picasso). Printed on a very beautiful white offset paper with a heavy grain and with a paper frame (marie louise). Careful and protected shipping.
