Pablo Picasso (1881-1973) - "Le Coq-Detail, 1907". - 60 x 50 cm.

Pablo Picasso: "Le Coq-Detail, 1907". Authorized silkscreen print. Condition: the work is in excellent condition. Format: 60 x 50 cm. The high-quality silkscreen underlines the graphic quality of the motif and gives the work a bright, pronounced presence. Picasso's abbreviated animal depictions belong to the most charming examples of his playful drawing. With a few, precise lines, the artist manages to capture movement, character and expression in an impressive way. The motif "Le Coq-Detail" from 1907 comes from a particularly fascinating early phase of Picasso's creation, in which his experimental formal language had already begun to take shape. Works from this period are considered especially interesting for collectors, because they form the basis for later, stylistically defining developments. The depiction convinces with its reduced, expressive line work and a direct, lively visual effect. It is precisely the animal depictions from this phase that possess their own character and clearly distinguish themselves from later, heavily abstracted works.
