All auctions / Arts & Graphics / Pablo Picasso (1881-1973) - "L'Autruche, 1936”.
Pablo Picasso: Title: "L'Autruche, 1936". Authorized screen print. Condition: the work is in excellent condition. The high-quality screen print underlines the graphic quality of the motif and gives the work a bright, striking presence. Picasso's concise animal depictions belong to the most charming examples of his playful drawing. With a few precise lines, the artist manages to capture movement, character and expression in an impressive way. The motif “L'Autruche” from 1936 comes from a particularly fascinating early phase of Picasso's creation, in which his experimental formal language was already beginning to take shape. Works from this period are regarded as particularly interesting for collectors, because they form the basis for later, stylistically decisive developments. The depiction convinces with its reduced, expressive line work and a direct, lively visual effect. It is precisely the animal depictions from this phase that possess an own character and clearly diverge from later, heavily abstracted works. Never framed and kept in a dark archival storage between acid-free protective paper. The shown photos are part of the description, the shown frame (size) is for illustration and is not included. If shipping costs are not automatically combined on multiple orders, you will always receive the multiple shipping costs paid back to you so that you only pay shipping once. This artwork is carefully securely packed and shipped in protective acid-free paper. No shipping to the Canary Islands.
