Oval-Shaped Kambaba Jasper - Concentric Bands with a...

Fashinating Jasper Formation — This fascinating specimen of Madagascar Kambaba Jasper presents itself in a free-form oval shape, carefully polished to highlight its natural characteristics. The surface is crossed by green and black concentric bands, outlining elliptical and circular patterns with a hypnotic aesthetic, typical of this extraordinary stone. The main design, broad and centered, resembles a fossilized “eye,” a symbol of ancient forms of bacterial life. This type of structure is due to the presence of fossilized stromatolites, formed about 3 billion years ago. These are traces left by colonies of cyanobacteria, among the oldest known photosynthetic organisms, whose activity contributed to the formation of Earth’s primitive atmosphere. Over time, these sediments lithified and silicified, transforming into a decorative rock rich in history and allure. Composition: microcrystalline quartz, epidote, oroclase, green amphiboles, iron and magnesian inclusions. In crystal healing, Kambaba Jasper is regarded as a stone of grounding, calm, and connection with the primordial Earth. It promotes emotional stability, ancestral wisdom, and deep meditation.
