Orfeo Tamburi - Veduta Parigina con ciminiere

Color etching and aquatint on paper. Splendid and refined original color engraving by Master Orfeo Tamburi (1910-1994), a renowned exponent of the Roman School deeply linked to the landscapes of the French capital. The work depicts one of his most famous and sought-after subjects on the market: a Parisian urban scene characterized by clean geometries, attic rooms (mansardes) and tall industrial chimneys rising in the background. The distinctive bold black line work fits perfectly with the delicate chromatic nuances of azure and brick. This lot stands out for its excellent print edition, limited to only 100 copies (specimen no. 30/100). The work is signed in pencil by the artist in the lower right. A piece of excellent collectible value, ready to be framed. The measurements refer to the entire frame.
