Order of the Garter Augmented by the Star, 1629, a silver medal, unsigned [by N. Briot], crowned bust of Charles I right, wearing ruff, ornate ermine cloak and Order of the Garter, rev. Garter Star, date in exergue, 27mm, 3.30g (cf. Platt I, p.122, type A; MI I, 253/33; E 113). Stain on king’s chin, otherwise good fine, very rare £120-£150.
